Extra Extra Read All About It!

My family gets the newspaper the Baltimore Sun delivered to my house everyday and The Dundalk Eagle delivered once a week. I bring it in every morning but very seldom look at it. My grandmother ( who i live with ) reads them and does the crossword puzzles EVERY DAY .

However my grandmother was born in 1927 and is 83 years old. Sometimes she turns on the television with the house phone, she will talk normal on the phone until she realizes you are on a cell phone and then she talks to you like you are an idiot and speaks extremely slow and over pronounces EVERYTHING! I on the other hand was born in 1990 and am 20 years old. I am well aware of how to turn on a tv. The difference between the two of us is that my generation grew up always having so much technology in our lives . We don't need to wait for a newspaper to find out some tragic news. all we have to do is click a button and it is right in our reach. My grandma still can't do that. In order to be informed of whats going on she needs the newspaper. To me newspapers are a thing of the past. However I do read my local newspaper. It's interesting to see people you know are doing good things in your community and even more interesting when you know the people who helped in a murder. The Dundalk Eagle is how I found out that two people who I used to be friends with helped with the murder of a bar owner. A month before it happened I had been in a show with them. These people TEXT  me ! These people HUGGED me ! Without the newspaper I would have never know that this happened. It's also really awesome that I've been in it multiple times and not for what you think!!!! They were all positive articles!
